ModTok ("we", "us") makes the ModTok iPhone app, which helps you sort, style, save, share and sell the clothes you own. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@modtokapp.com.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and sign-in details when you create an account.
- Your closet: photos of your clothing and the details you add, such as category, brand, size, color and notes, plus the outfits you save.
- Selling and buying: your listings, prices, messages tied to an order, and order history. If you buy or sell, we collect the shipping address needed to deliver the item.
- Payments: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Basic technical information: app version, device type and error reports, used to keep the app working.
How we use it
- To run the app: store your closet, show your outfits, and let you list, buy and sell items.
- To process payments and ship orders.
- To answer your support requests and send important account or order messages.
- To keep ModTok safe and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or tracking.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run ModTok, and only as needed:
- Supabase, which hosts our database, sign-in and photo storage.
- Stripe, which processes payments and pays sellers.
- Shipping providers (such as Shippo and the carrier), which receive the names and addresses needed to create a shipping label.
- Other users, who see what you choose to make public, such as your listings and shared outfits. A buyer and seller see the details needed to complete their order.
We may also share information if the law requires it or to protect the safety of our users.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, closet and photos. We may keep order and payment records for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
- You can edit or delete items in your closet at any time.
- You can delete your account in the app (Profile, then Settings, then Delete account) or by emailing us.
- You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct it, by emailing support@modtokapp.com.
Children
ModTok is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
